Jyothi Lakshmi plays JaganMohini’s Mom

Ghosts, magic and horror are the main ingredients of socio-fantasy films of Vitalacharya that spell bounds the spectators. It is well known that his classic movies exhibited excellent memorization at the times when there was no technology to create graphics and spectacular visual effects.

The original 'Jagan Mohini' in the direction of late B. Vittalachary casting Narasimha Raju and Jaya Malini in the lead roles in 1978 went on to be a super hit.

After so many years the same film is being remade with the same title in Telugu and Tamil. Namitha and Mera Chopra plays’ the riveting female roles while Raja plays the male lead. A cinematographer-turned-director NK Viswanath makes this movie in the same yesteryear title ‘Jagan Mohini’. Producer Murali produces this movie on Lakshmi Movie Makers banner.

The last schedule of this film is going to be started in Hyderabad. The film will be readied for release, both in Telugu and Tamil for the festive occasion of Sankranthi.

While Namitha is playing the title role as JaganMohini, veteran actress Jyothi Lakshmi is playing her mother. Yesteryear ravishing actress Jyothi Lakshmi alongside the contemporary nymph Namitha adds high-octane to the movie’s glamour level. Apart from acting, Jyothi Lakshmi also shares a song with Namitha and dances with her.
